As a young person, I was always mindful of my actions, whether it was turning off lights, recycling, or finding other small ways to reduce my impact on the planet. When I encountered the field of sustainability, it resonated deeply with me, aligning with my appreciation for the environment and my dedication to fostering local solutions that benefit communities and the unique natural beauty that make them special.
I’ve lived in the Eagle River Valley for the last eight years and am so grateful to call this place home. Like many of us here, I love biking, hiking, backpacking, and floating the river in the summer, but I was drawn here from my hometown because of my love for skiing. There’s nothing better than waking up to fresh snow and the accompanying wave of powder panic to get to the hill as soon as possible to drink all the powder in! Outside of skiing, my life revolves around an adorable cat who is far too needy, a wonderful supportive partner, and family and my friends who make this community home.

My career has led me to a variety of places, from supporting private developers working to earn LEED Certifications for high-rise buildings in Denver to being a community organizer for local climate solutions in Eagle County. Currently, I consult with dozens of local governments across the state helping identify and implement community-driven solutions to build resilience and protect the environment. I excel in project management and community and stakeholder engagement and have spent the last decade of my career building my expertise around energy sustainability and land stewardship. I love facilitation and engagement with large and small stakeholder groups and know that true community-led solutions to issues can only be found through robust community outreach and engagement. My technical expertise lies in greenhouse gas accounting and mitigation strategies for the public and private sectors, and I have a proven track record of implementing and scaling programs to deliver measurable results.

I want to leave behind a legacy of service and dedication to making this community a more sustainable place. My vision for this community is a lifestyle powered by next-generation energy solutions, electrified to eliminate local air pollution, and connected by way of robust multimodal transportation options. I know this can be achieved, because I’ve seen the passion, dedication, and love for this place by my fellow community members and I know together, we will build a resilient and sustainable home for ourselves for generations to come.
